SHIRZAN
"Shirzan" captivates, a powerful photo series of Iranian women residing in Germany. The project was created in the spring of 2023 out of great respect for the brave women of Iran.
Spearheaded by the talented photographer, Darius Ramazani, and producer Rafaela Bonato, the project seeks to shine light on the unique stories and experiences of these remarkable women, reflecting their strength and resilience.

When I approached the project, I felt an instant connection. As an Iranian woman myself, living amidst the current civil commotions, I recognized the significance and power behind this assignment.
To complement the visual narrative, I took on the task of designing a bold logo that would serve as a strong representation of the essence encapsulated by "Shirzan". Drawing inspiration from the Arabic typeface of the Persian word, I crafted a logo that embodied the strength, courage, and resilience exhibited by these Iranian women. This logo would serve as a symbol of empowerment throughout the project.

AN IRANIAN WOMAN
EXHIBITION
In May 2023, the photos of the women were
exhibited in a law firm in Berlin.
To support this, I designed postcards and signs for the exhibition.
